I create art that can be contemplated in many different ways.
My abstract work allows each observer to create their own unique narrative and connection with the piece.
My technique-driven process allows me to work in any and all media. All of my pieces explore pattern and rhythm through manipulation of color, texture, light and dimension.
Much of my art conveys an architectural quality reflecting my background and training in architecture. I incorporate recycled materials, found objects and ephemera into many of my works and allow my chosen materials to guide how each piece evolves.
I am ever conscious of how the materials interact with each other as I work with them, sometimes with surprising results. I am constantly seeking opportunities to integrate new materials into my work.
